Jacqueline Bancayan-Tomlin

Hi! I'm Jackie, owner and founder of Sun Rises Speech & Language Services, PLLC. I am a national certified and state licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. I have been a bilingual pediatric therapist for over 10 years serving children ages birth to 18 in the state of Texas. I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of populations, disorders and settings such as clinics, daycares, child development centers, and private homes. I am passionate about early intervention, orofacial myology, providing treatment in the child’s most natural environment and working with culturally and linguistically diverse populations.

I have had the opportunity to professionally work with children with Orofacial Myology Disorders, Feeding Disorders, Receptive/Expressive Language Disorders, Fluency Disorders, Articulation/Phonological Disorders, Down Syndrome, Autism, and Childhood Apraxia of Speech.

I am licensed by the board of Texas and maintain the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA).

I have received training in orofacial myology with Neo-Health Services, the largest provider for orofacial myology training. Given my passion in this specialized field, I have also received training with Simon Says, another orofacial myology training provider. I am currently a member of Hallie Bulkin's Myo Membership, where I receive monthly continuing educational courses in the area of orofacial myology.

Additionally, I have received special training in Feeding Therapy by completing and graduating from the Feed the Peds comprehensive 40-hour course in addition to hands-on feeding training throughout my clinical experience. I have also received training in Beckman Oral Motor Assessment and Intervention and the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS).

I live in Spicewood, Tx with my husband and two daughters. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, exercising, traveling, listening to Functional Medicine and Health and Wellness podcasts, and exploring local coffee shops.
